Jessie sent me a link to this the other day and it's awesome. Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth that can be used to wrap/transport all kinds of goods and gifts. Much more environmentally friendly than disposable bags, and more versatile than a regular bag (provided you know how to knot/wrap it properly). I used to wrap presents in scarves I had lying around when I realized last minute that I didn't have any wrapping paper. Stores that sell them also have some really lovely patterns.
